Patrick Hastings
Principal Consultant
As the founder and principal consultant of Pangos, Patrick specialises in custom-made solutions to meet the needs of his clients. He is a results-driven consultant with over a decade of experience in various industries, including virtual advertising and defence infrastructure.
Patrick has proven his ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. His diverse industry experience has allowed him to focus his skills on project management, sales and business development, and software product management.
Throughout his career, Patrick has managed a number of high-profile projects, one of which involved the creation of a virtual reality system for the NRL, which replaced on-field paint sponsorship in 2013. He also developed and produced a custom timing unit, synchronising the NRL timekeeper, with stadium and broadcast time.
Patrick served in the Australian Army as a Facilities Project Manager, where he managed a budget of over $10M and was awarded as an Australia Day Medallion for new construction and remediation of existing facilities. As a Reserve Rifleman, he was awarded The Soldiers Medallion for exemplary service while on peacekeeping missions in Timor-Leste (East Timor).
As an Executive Producer for KHE Films, Patrick raised private capital for Australian films including "Never Too Late" and "Carnifex". He has also co-owned and managed Crossfit Newcastle, one of the original Crossfit gyms in Australia.
Patrick’s forte lies in creating opportunities and reinvigorating stalled projects or deals. He is skilled at breaking down heavily technical industry language and translating it between stakeholders, which has been a key driver of his success.
Molly Smith
Executive Assistant
After spending close to a decade providing executive administrative support to state government Ministers and their offices, Molly joined Pangos in early 2023.
Molly has a breadth of experience working within confidential high-pressure environments, and a multifaceted skill set. She is a resourceful operator who is constantly looking for ways to innovate and create efficiencies, and has a natural ability to build strong relationships that lead to favourable business outcomes.
